I have the same sled and modding it as well . Another worthwhile mod is a different rear skid. I Also put some viper shocks on it. Incredible difference in ride and weight transfer lighter and stronger as well. I bought a new xtc700 in 1998 for 7000 and its one of my favorite yamaha models. I bought my current one for 800 as well and I'm enjoying modding this one. Let that red head rip
