this website seems professional and set up awsome all the yamaha nuts in one spot. ive always had yamaha sleds and always thought their fit and finish was always the best. i just added a new sled to my yamaha collection a 2000 sxr 600. newest sled ive ever owned been trail riding my 93 vmax4 for the last three years and i need a nice breath of fresh air that i think this sx 600 can offer. i got it dirt cheap because the guy couldnt figure out the primary spring was broke. it comes with a bender clutch set up but the primary is broke its orange. i threw an old yamaha green white green i think and was pulling to many rpm. what would be a good compairable yamaha spring i could use in stead of the bender orange. srx spring y-w-y ? thanks

Welcome to the site. As far as spring I have no idea. Heres a link to another member selling a bender orange spring if you want to go that route.

on my 2001 SXR600 I use the primary spring that is stock...Y-G-Y.Gives about a 4000 engagement. G-W-G and Y-W-Y have higher preloads and you will over rev about 500 rpm and engage at about 4500 or a tad more.
I am now testing my sxr600 clutching with 8CR-10 weights.I use the G-W-G primary with it.I have 4.5 g inner rivets and .8with Red Spring at 80 wrap.Seems to be good.RPM's are around 8450-8500 wot.I need to try it out in a long stretch to see if the rpm's will stay there..but feels good.

i called bender two weeks ago to get all the info on what i had they said they wont tell me what the helix degree is. the weights came with the kit they dont look like stock weights. the primary spring was broke it was an orange bender spring that came with the bender clutch kit. i just wanted to throw a yamaha spring in there compairable to the bender orange spring. when i have the money im gonna ditch the bender set up go all yamaha. i really dont wanna deal with bender or put a bender spring back in.

bender orange should be a 55/135. closest yamaha spring would be a G/W/G at 45/136

if you look on the inside of the helix it will be engraved with a code, list it here, might be one someone has checked and can tell you what angle it is.
example "9870c", means its for a 98 srx 700 with cold air kit.
