I just purchased a 2000 SRX 700r with 1635 miles on it. I took the carbs off and cleaned them well. I set the air screws at 1 1/2 turns out. I also set the slide height at .047" per the manual. The throttle cable has a little free play. I also installed new factory reed valves. The sled starts, but will not rev. After running for a minute the idle goes to 3,000 rpms and bogs if you try to rev it further. This sounds like the T.O.R.S unit from my reading. How do I bypass it to check? Any suggestions as to what would cause this?

unplug the tors wires from the carbs, connect the two wires together that you have just unplugged from the carbs, see how it runs, should work fine, just remember that if your carbs stick, your sled won't tell you without the tors hooked up.
