my dn's have 4.9 g inner and 5.6g outer...w-w-w with 1 engage. shim..stock 47 helix at 80 and it pulls hard,lifts the skis when great traction on the snow.Rpm's dead on well..can't complain.I don't have any studs on right now either..so am impressed with it.
run 115mph last years on radar on ice ..this year i put other ported cylinder and stock 2000 heads and sled gain 500 rpm ...hope to get better result on top end ...sled seem to make alots more torque

a well set up stock SRX sled should see 110 to 112 mph..why you need more then. I ride in snow and am happy just to hit 100 on speedo. Slow it down,don't drink and ride and enjoy the winter scenery .You want to blow up that motor again????? You must have a ton of $$$ to keep rebuilding the damn motor mod...lol
nahhhhhhhh just buy stuff during the summer lollll........a stock srx with untouch suspension will run 105 to 109 ..many friend here with stock srx ...

Take both set ups with you and try em on the gun see which one runs the best mph.
For the 8dn20 set up, I would run a y/w/y spring with 4.5 in center and 5.5 in tip, 15.6 rollers, 54/46 with green at 60, if you can try a couple passes try the red sec spring at 60-70 and see if you can hang onto the belt. Walk it/roll gently out of the hole, dont smash the gas, its differnt then drag racing, its not about e.t. its about speed. The longer your on the track the more time you have to build mph!

well tested the 8dn-20 today with 51gr total ..with the w-w-w was worst than before he pull on me like I was not touching the gaz lolll ...put the y-w-y and the sled get back alive different animal ..couldn't test vs my friend with the y-w-y cause is thundercat broke down but the sled did pull alots harder ....those ported cylinder like to run at 8800 nothing under ......will maybe try vs him next week ...with the 8bu-10 it was kneck to kneck till we get top speed and than he pass slowly ....

put the set up I gave you in it in post #12,EXACTLY what I listed, 51 grams isnt what i wrote nor was the w/w/w/ spring, you cant use a few of the ingrediants of the recipe and skip the others and expect to pull a cake out of the oven.....

sorry don can't run that engine less that 8800...or it will be flat dead ....would work on a little little ported engine that can still pull at 8400 8500 cannot add 1 gramm in eatch tip it will drop my rpm to mutch

ummmm...well lets see, you used a w/w/w primary spring thats a 119kg shift, the spring i told you to run is y/w/y 128kg spring, last time i checked if you add kg to the shift, it RAISES the rpm not lower it......
this is why you guys frustrate me, you dont listen or use the set ups as they are listed, because you think you only need to use whats on hand or of ease to use. It doesnt work that way, never will.
I know turk used to pm me about the same exact thing/problems giving out set ups to guys and not using the whole set up only parts of it. then complaining it doesnt work.., here it is again...................

didn't said nothing wrong about it don ....I did try with the w-w-w first just to see the rpm ..it was at 8500 8600 not high enough...then switch to the y-w-y like u told me to run .way different in everything ..for the shift and throttle response ...sled run 8700 on hole shot that raised too 8800 at maximum speed ...will see vs my thundercat friend...I know he got alot more motor but it give me a good idea if I go better or wrong
