your set up seem to run awesome don....now I got 2 set up that rock ..will see who will give me a better mph
and again, you dont run 8800rpm on a stock srx cdi box....yes, you can spin up to 8700 but higher and your losing power as the box is beginning retarding timing. Secondly, you dont have enuff tip weight in it like i listed so your running 8800 instead of 8700 like your supposed to, see you just DONT follow whats listed....

mod why are you not staying within rpm range of 8500-8600 max..After that you are losing power...have a beer mod!!

mod how can your ported motor not pull 52 grams???Mine is not ported and I am running a total of 53.8 grams y-w-y 47 helix at 80 and was reving to 8600 wot.With w-w-w- ran 8350-8400 wot.
put a 54-46 on it and let me know what will happened ..first your wrap at 80 and your raving only 8300-8400...maybe I could I didn't try it ..but I still need to stay higher than 8600......u should try vs other srx sometime it feel like it pull but it doesn't ...try to be kneck to kneck with a thundercat 1000 and let me know loll...I know that thunder need some clutching but im still in is running board till 90 mph loll

thnx don for the set up ...it does run amazing for trail ride didn't do mutch top end not the perfect condition for it ..like u said I need to put more weight to drop the rpm now I should listen at start lolll ...

Are you still running the stock CDI?
