no broken spring pretty dirty the two bimetal bushings have play but dont look worn like they usually do but need to be replaced. shoe ramps completely worn out i mean like almost metal to metal. some scores in the bender helix but looks ok. the bottem edges on the inside of the sleves were a little jagged but i dont think the belt touches it but i dont like it. i might have to snap a photo to explain. add all that up i think i might have pinned the problem, everything! its a 2000 sxr600 bought it 5-6 weeks ago for $600.00 abused never cared for kinda guy just put gas in. all it had was a broken primary spring that was causing a bog and plugged pilot jets. it rips pretty good but needs more work. where can i order the shoe ramps, bimetal bushings and what ever else i need online for good pricing and shipping the local dealers are hard on my wallet.

Whay does the belt height look like. Should be 1/16 th above the secondary. Maybe just needs adjustment.
Don't buy the spi sec rebuild kits they are junk will not last a seanson.

copy that on the junk after market stuff. bran new belt, ride hight was perfect. where does everybody get parts from im a lowly carpenter who spends all his money keeping his vintage sleds, cars, trucks, tools going. basically everything i own is twenty years old, poor and white could be worse.

If I order from someone other than a vendor here, I usually go to cycle parts warehouse. They used to be the cheapest I could find. Usually takes a little while as I think they have to order the parts in for sleds as they are down south.

don't buy any aftermarket shoe ramps..there are crap.I tried some years back..they last like 1 ride, they are soft.OEM is a hard compound that will last many seasons.Just change mine the other day. They are expensive..like $10 plus each..but worth it in the long run.
