Hi does anyone know what sort of current is pushed into the battery normally. There is always load on the battery since the lights are on but with my charged battery I put back into the sled. I metered it after running it and going around a loop a short way up the road and back. I got my digital meter on its and the best I am seeing is 13.5x volts. Hmm I would expect and like to see 14VDC anyway. Unless that required much higher RPM's than idle and slightly higher before the clutch engages.

Anyone on this. Thats not really enough to charge the battery fully. Half charge or so at best. In the cold 14.5VDC is required for these batteries.

Oops, damm it just hit me that the lights are running on a separate output and on AC. Ok but battery charging circuit specific.
