i got a 52/40 50/45 54/42 58/42 60/40
i would try 50/45 or 54/42....for radar runs you want more acceleartion at a higher speed than a lower speed because you will be on the track longer and therefore have more time to build speed, so ideally you want a steeper finish angle if you have enough hp to pull it

its hard to talk about helix ...no brand helix work the same with the same degree....if its close to Dalton helix he is pretty bang on ,,,,,

52-40 IS THE BEST CAM FOR YOUR SET-UP OFF YOUR LIST. GO TO THE GREEN SPRING AT 80 WRAP. 8BU-10 PULL LIKE A FREIGHT TRAIN. YOU ALSO DON,T NEED 2 ENGAGEMENT SHIMS. USE ONE WITH THAT MAX WHITE. THIS IS SPEED RUNS, NOT DRAGS. 3:16 (yammie tony)

We have run that distance and done very well with a set up very close to yours right now. The only big difference in our set up is we run a softer secondary spring at a very low wrap. Trick is to not suck the belt down on launch and hold rpm's. Your going to have to be very fast in the bay! This weekend the stock 700 trail class ran 111 on sat. And 114.9 on sun.
Those are very fast speeds in 1320 on trail studs!

Hey Jabber what sleds ran those speeds? Do you guys run stock gearing in that distance?

We ran the red! Started at 60 dregs and worked our way softer as we tested.
F7's ran those #s
Two former SRX guys.
2fastsrx from this form and my son.
Not sure how a well set up SRX would have run. I didn't have one to bring and the ones I did see there where obviously not set up!
Best SRX stocker I saw was under 110 mph.
We ran a 123.6 with our 600 improver with a lot of hard work. We only managed 1 full pass all weekend. Puked o rings in the head 3 times. Found a warped head to be the cause so we tried lapping it. What a chore that was! We did get it to hold for a pss though.
Our competition ran a 126.1 so we didn't even get very close. Maybe in the Bay we can give him a bit more competition!

Wow those F7's did some good numbers. Sad that SRX guys went to the dark side..lol.
Your 600 did well..good work Dan.

We do have separate classes for the single and multi pipe race stock 700 classes. The 2003 F7 is definitely fast. We ran 112.2 last weekend with our SRX 700 in 1000 feet. Not close to the record yet but we are working on it.
