Trav get ready for a rude awakening in the bay. The sleds your going to run there will run one hell of a lot better than what you have seen on mud!
Your going to have to do more than a power valve cleaning, your going to have to make sure everything is working well. Jetting, valves, gearing, clutching and just an overall well set up chassis if you want a chance to win that class. It's one of the more competitive classes on the trail side. The 700 stockers there are capable of winning right up to 1000 stock most weekends. I don't want to discourage you, just want to make sure you come prepared.

Agreed 100%. Be prepared my friend it is not like running mud lake. Alot of these guys that run NBSSR know there stuff. Very hard class to run. Listen to Dan's advice on set up. It will alot off set up time and testing to win that class. What gear ratio are you running for the runs. How will you set up suspension. What extra jets will you bring. is your chasis well set up where it rolls very easy. Hope that some of the top guys dont show up. Dan and his son may get the flu wink wink. I am around the corner if you want some ideas and opinions.

I have the green spring whenever you need it.
Testing is a great way to learn. Take notes on the changes you make and the results you get. Make small changes to see results.

Bullit you planning to run in NorthBay?
Stock 23/38 gearing works pretty good in 1320 if the chassis rolls well. I like that gear ratio but prefer to do it with different gears. The stock gearing at 1 to 1 clutch shift out give you around 110 mph. A well set up SRX should get there. I have seen 113 in 1320 on trail studs from a couple SRX's.
Drop in on us at the runs if you end up going.

Yes I was thinking of going on sunday. Can't go Saterday, my little girls birthday. Just went on lake nosbonsing to try 22/40 gearing and got 110 mph on gps but little more than 1320ft and lake is ruff. was thinking of running either 23/40 or 24/40 because of chain deflection is better. Actually I was thinking of going to the track tomorrow to test my sled. I don't know if the track would be ready and they wouldn't mined me running my sled down the track.

You have the right idea on the deflection! Is your sled stock or improved?
Have you guys tried the 8bu-00 in the 1320ft?

Never tried the oo's over 1000 ft.I have got 110mph with them in 1000ft.I'm shure with more tuning you could get more.i only ran the sled 1 season on the ice.
