hey , i bought a 1995 yamaha v max 500 st, the rear suspension seems to b worn out , they put a seat jack on the back and have been using it as a two up seat. so im looking to beef up the suspension, i ve been looking and it's not easy. what i am looking to do is jack up the back , like a 600 or 800 mountain max, eventually put on a 2" paddle track. cheaper is better, but if there is no way around this , i will spend the cash. any info would be greatly thankful

Move this down to the VMax section, you'll have better luck at some help.
You may want to look for what is called a proaction plus suspension. It offers 10" of travel of rear suspension and this suspension was found in the V-max 500 and 600 XT series.
