new to me but running good @2100 mi. all OEM. Today went on the frozen backwater had 10" of untouched powder snow so I made a track about 1/4 mile, turned around WOT in the track I just made hit 85mph..if it had anything left it wasn't much..wind was not a factor.

I won't be spending much time at this velocity but does a 85 top speed with that surface seem about right?
 
I'm can't believe it went that fast!!!....lol Stock gearing +hp numbers keep them right around 80-85mph with snow. If you take it out on less than an inch of snow, you can go faster (like 95-100mph on the dreammeter). If you are looking for speed, ur going to want a different gear.
 
o.k. so good to know it's normal on that end of the spectrum too, thanks, nice machine seems to do everything well like my '97 700 SX..although I've only gone 70 with that..maybe next w/e I'll test the 700 top speed.

going to keep these two all OEM (except both now have Bergstrom carbides) and nurse them into the 10,000+ mile club.
