2000 sxr 700. Been having on and off issues. Very lost. lately when I hit the throttle real hard I get a bogging burping noise that sounds just like tors is going off. Tors is unplugged. I just took carbs apart and cleaned all jets. I did not take off float as that was cleaned 2 months ago the screens. Anyways its only when I hit the throttle real hard. Starts bogging then goes fine. Im so lost. Fuel screws are out 2 turns. What else should I look at? Sounds just like tors activating but tors unplugged..pleasehelp..

So like, once u get past around 5000-6000rpm it's will sound and pull like normal? I know you cleaned the carbs but If its doing that I would check the pilot jets

Need more info on current carb setup, however in my experience it sounds like you are too lean on the idle side of it. Try 2 1/2 turns on the fuel screws and if you don't like taking your carbs off every time you want to make a fuel screw change then build/buy some remote screw adjusters.

sled is totally stock... 2700 miles. i have owned three years now..first two years i had a mechanic clean carbs for me..this year i cleaned myself... seems odd, all of a sudden this would happen.. i did turn fuel screw out two turns and still doing it every now and then.. anyway possible this can be gas related? i unhooked the line from the gas tank thinking i can pull out the gas filter and couldnt get it out. but looked down into tank and moved it around, looked clean.. after i did this rode a couple miles and it didnt act up at all? confused.

Hi. Just rebuilt my 97 700 vmax. The middle cylinder melted on the stock motor. New Wiseco pistons, balanced crank, slightly shaved head ( to clean it up), L.A. custom cylinder sleeves, Power Inc triple pipes.

She loads up! ?! What would you guys recommend for MJ1 (PTO). MJ2,MJ3? Along with pilot jet, Jet needle, and pilot screw?
