vmax 700 sx skid set up??

hey guys i just bought a 97 yamaha v max sx 700 and it seems to spin alot no matter what conditions its in. it has a camoplast predetor track in fair shape not studded im a 155 pounds and ride mostly trail but i do hit the ditches and drifts when we can find them just wondering were to start adjusting to get this thing to hook up a little better im not oppsed to studding it from what i can tell it has kyb shocks with a valve for air but im thinking some adjustments would help me any input would be greatley appreciated thanks
