Heres my problem, when you take this unit out it starts and runs great, wide open runs fully revving out and clean, after about 5 or 6 kms it starts breaking up slightly on top end then slowly gets worse to the point where it revs about 78-8000rmp and sounds flat. I have gone through the carbs 4 times, stator was a little off on values so I replaced it. Compression is good, it has a MBRP stinger and tried on a stock one, no change, new fuel filter, went through the exhaust system, changed out coils, repl fuel. Seems to be heat related but its not the coils or stator. I didnt change out the cdi but they usually dont act like this. Please I am open to any ideas. Thank you.
What jetting and at what elevation?

Here we are at 2200ft and I am 142.5 and 141.3 on 2 and 3. Pilots are 45. Plugs are perfect golden after testing too. Im going to check into the load control relay because it ties into the ignition system as well, they have those condensors in there as well. Anyone seen issues with these? This was the first year for the DC ignition system too so a grounding headlight or short would cause this too I guess.

Okay did lots of checking and found the CDI faulty, I had another customer with the same unit and swapped it, fixed. Never seen a CDI fail like that, retarding timing. Anyone know of a good used one that I can get ahold of. Let me know. Shad
