I'm completely restoring a 1977 ET250A. I'm trying to get the lower end all the way apart. Has anyone ever split these lower ends? I have everything off of the MAG side, but I'm stuck on the PTO side. I got the spanner nut off (made a socket to fit). Do I need to have the rest pressed off with a bearing plate or something? Right now there is still a small bearing and the inside clutch sheave on the crankshaft. I'm trying to get to the PTO side bearing so I can replace it along with the seal. Any advice would be appreciated.

been a while but i believe this is a splined end crank ......the fixed sheeve must be removed ........that aside the crank and bearings are a slight press into the case haves ........and will need to be pressed apart there is a puller out there to do this but one can be made to work i will look and see if i have any pics of it and see if i can find mine as it has been at least 5 years since i have used it last
