Extra Hood Straps???

What are you guys running for hood straps??
what and where?? did you get them?
any pictures??
do's and don'ts??
 
some of you guys had to try this!!!!!!!
lets hear it good or bad!
tired of stoping and putting hood back in line.
 
polaris hood straps

I put on polaris hood straps they are cheap and they work great. How do you post pix?? I put one on each side on both my Mountain Maxes up by the bump. I think one goes right through the "M". If my sled rolls down the hill I am hoping the hood will stay on and not get too busted up. I bolted the strap to the belly pan. But if you are going to remove your hood you should mount them the other way so the staps aren't flapping in the wind.

go here and look at the polaris on the bottom of the page. the straps this place sells look like Artic Cat ones. I don't know price.

i used Polaris ones on my '97 sx and they worked great, nice and easy to install, and helped keep the gap tight between the hood and the lip on the belly pan.
