Dang I may have to trade my Viper for a new Viper !! The front does look like a Cat, but who cares as long as it works.

Looks like a cat because it is a cat!!! Arctic cat is building the sleds for Yamaha with yamaha's engine.
 
Yup very true I'm on both sides of the fence with this was hoping for an all knew chassis from yamaha but always loved the pro cross but not the cat engines might be the best of both worlds
 
look between both arctic and Yamaha sites... In the General Yamaha section there is Talk and on the 4 stroke side.
 
I watch that video and makes me want one wether its a cat chassis or not. That was bad a$$. Cant take my sx threw bumps like that. Well I can but me bum will be broken. My truck is payed off this summer think me might have to have a new payment for a viper red please.

maybe the Yamaha stickers are from Yamaha..but don't quote me.Look at the 2013 Cat line up..same identical look as this 2014 Viper..except the Blue and Yami stickers...wow!!!.No true Blue from Yamaha anymore..end of an era..times change.The Corporate's don't care about their loyal customers anymore ..they tricked us again and had to bring back the Viper name to try and soften the blow some..not gonna work to good.Are we still going to get a ton of recalls off that Cat Chassis ,front end,reverse..etc..probably..hence the 1 year warranty only..something stinks in Yamaland.
 
well always be complaints but i for one love the way it looks and its got yammie motor and clutches so rather than them spending millions on r and d for a new chassis and charging 18 plus thousand this was a better option in my opinion. i expect an SRX when the apex disappears although it will be a re badged cat lol If they came out w a new chassis and it was to heavy them people would still complain never happy ;)!

now wouldn't that be a nice surprise for the 2015..They would of tricked us again and give us a SRXCAT....with an 800 motor ( 2 stroker)..better be in Blue then.I am sure they are working on something.Then the Apex(heavy weight) can exit the arena.I think they would name it SEXCAT ,,yeah!! Long track it to the hilt and maybe turbo it to like produce some 250 -300 HP.Only problem the price would be around $25,000... :o| :o| :o|
 
Just talked to the boys back home and artic releases their 2014 lineup on monday, have to see what they are offering. The vipers don't hit the production line until october. Damn

It didnt say Viper..lol.. I have riden Nytros and they were alright but the chasis was not great, the new combination should make this sled rock.. and it looks good..
