I think I've pulled them up at least 35mm's or more.
I'm not to concerned about transfer ( although it transfer like crazy now) I want the skis to be planted when I excellerate out of a corner.

Nope.I should check and see what the bottom spacer is.
Last night I went out and the snow was soft but hard parked.I put on my 51/43 sec and the damn sled really pulls hard mid range,talk about transfer.Jees it will still pull the skis off the snow about 3inchs.If I still have to suck up the limiter straps I'll do it.
 
You mean stiffening them up?
They are set at 84mm reg (center of bolt to top of spring).
103mm is stiff, so maybe 94mm's?

I took the Ohlins off instead of banging the hell out of the adjusting nuts with a screw driver.What a pain,pipes off or #2 at least,pull 2 blue plugs out to allow the top bolts to slide out and so on.Damn Yamaha puts alot of loc tight on those shock bolts.Thank God for an air gun.
So I have them set at 95mm from bolt to spring. That setting really raised the front.Hope it works I really don't want to do that again. ;):D
 
My shocks didn't have much loctite on the bolts at all when I pulled them to put Ohlins extensions on. They were snug, but not to the point where I had to take the pipes off to deal with them. Now I get the luxury of doing it all over again, as I busted my mag side Ohlins shock rod.
 
Damn Im still getting inside ski lift.Im going to have to suck up more limiter strap.I wonder how much more I can take them up.I can just feel the skid transfer its weight as I get on the throttle its nice for ripping down a long smooth trail but when I come out of a corner and punch it either of the skis will pop up and I have to get off the throttle to settle her down.
 
I like the front down as well and I have 1 1/2 in. of limiter thread exposed past the nut on my SXR's, and now I have the same set up on my Viper.I hate ski lift on the trail. You might try softening the front ski springs a 1/4 in. as well, to drop more ski pressure.

I notice that the bottom spacer is only 2.5mm & top 10mm on the rods.I guess the guy that had the sled before me has been screwing around with it.
With these spacers is this why Im getting so much transfer?????

I heard the opposite stiffening the ski springs will give you more ski pressure. ;):D
 
You want the large spacer to be on top. Transfer rods will help with the ski lift. I have Maxx rods and I run them with almost no transfer and it corners like on rails.
