Hey all i need some help my cousin has a 2003 SX Viper triple cliynder we need to figure out what size motor is in it, we have no idea and cannot find any markings also the key is broke off in the ignition we need to jerry rig it so to speak to get it off the ice fast could anyone tell use what wires we need to splice into to start the motor? there are 2 red and 2 brown tan wires i know one is stator and ones battery and the brown are grounds and i want to do the minimal damage possible
dead on ice or under ice

Does it run? Did the key just break off in ignition? Doesnt it have a pull start if you cannot use the key?

Can't you just unplug the ignition? my buddy did that on my old 92 bombi 580 didn't need a key to start it lol.

If you can't get it running, just take the belt off and tow it off the ice. I always heard unplugging the switch would allow it to run, but it sounds like that isn't working. Also vipers had a 700 cc engine in them. If you end up needing a key switch and key, I have one for sale. message me if you end up needing it

You need to unplug it and with a wire connect two prongs together, I don't know which ones. Also when doing this if you touch the wrong two together you can blow the ingnition fuse which is what I did. So have a few spare fuses when you do this
Oh and it's a 700cc

just tow it - if he has a viper why doesnt he know the size motor in it? whole thing sounds odd.

Sounds sketchy to me.......
If the key is broke off inside, should be able to turn the ignition with a screwdriver or the rest of the key, I would think

did you just find half the key on the floor and no sled...lolllllllllllll..why did you leave it on the ice mod..lmao
