what kind of gear should I get .....running a speed track with ice pik...what kind of engagement rpm should I get ???I will run 8bu-10

We ran 5500 engagement. If your track will hold it without spinning and there are no rules for a max engagement bring it up even higher!

no rules about it ....should I run 8bu-10 or 89a-10 weight in 660 ...I know both run good....only rules its to holds the handle good loll...not sure I got a spring to get over 5000

89a10 are same profile as heelclickers they should work good. You have a spring with a 136 finish? Ran em with that.

in 660 on an sx viper mtn i ran 8bu-00 empty with a black green dalton spring and one engagement shim, engagement was at 5000 and topped out at about 9000, secondary was a green yamaha spring wrapped to 90! Ran this with great success! also running 23/40 with 9 tooth drivers!
