anyone have any charts to show on jetting? I have a chart in my Clymer manual that shows my jetting and elevation and pilot size for a 698 cc motor is good for -40 F..but that may be for the redheads only.

found it in the manual..looks like I am jetted lean for 786 ft elevation...

h'mmm..seems like I should be in the 150/148.8/148.8 jetting range.It also shows Pilot Jet should be 40..I am now using 45 jets because of idle hang..I have smaller Pilot jets,not sure I should change that also..opinions on these.I also have 148.8/147.5/147.5 jets here as well..but they won't be good it shows past -7 C.Man guess I have been DCS protected all these years..good to see. As I jet up,won't I start to lose some power??

well the results are in.Went for a ride today,cloudy out(crap) and mild but was passing 100 mph on speedo .Did a few good long pulls and the DCS is not flashing .So jetting to 01 specs is where it is staying.Very responsive and accels nicely.A little rough in lot of spots now and thanks to the idiots on quads who screwed up some nice trails along the Park.Friggin piss's me off them BIG FRICKEN tire ruts throwing my sled all over the place.
Can't complain about the sled now..runs as it should,rpm at wot is 8500 also and that motor sure sounds sweet again.Had that Blaaaaaaa! sound for to many years..now she just rips..I believe the stator change improved the engine performance..now just gonna ride here and there until it gets to warm out..I have nothing more to iron out on my two sleds..just turn key and ride em..

For the first time in years I finally passed another SRX on the River.He was riding with a MZX tailing him.Cool to see that SRX,looks like a 98.

speed kills.As long as I hit 100 who cares.Just love the slot car feel,she really corners well on the River doing 70 to 80..can't complain..love the pull mostly as motor is finally working properly..on ice I know I can do 115 to 120.Did 118 years back on the River ice with no problem,snow will slow you down.Hey this sled is going on 11 years now,good for at least another 10 or so without issues..is all I need.
