I hear yeah. If there was silver on the plug, the motor would be on my bench by now. I just have a cylinder that acts up at full throttle.

HAVE YOU HAD CARB ALL APART WHERE THIS IS HAPPENING. ALL JETS, NEEDLES/seats, SCREENS , O-RING, float height etc. 3:16 (YAMMIE TONY)
Yes. A couple of times. Float heights are the same across all three carbs. Top hats were spotless. Needle and seats looked good but you don't know for sure until you put new ones in. Leaky needle and seat should affect WOT pulls.

if your not sure about something just flip those parts with another carb ...

Is the powervalve cable for that cylinder tight? if you remove the black plastic cover off servo and then take your finger and push on the cables, does it spring back? paticulary the one in question?
Yes. Last thing I checked was for pull thru and then checked adjustment. Even if the PV didn't open, would it cause my PTO plug to look all carboned and fouled up? I believe the dirty plug is the sympton of the sled not keeping WOT rpms.

if the exh port isnt raised up it can take all the fuel mix s the exh port is too low and it will run fat and be low on rpm.
have you ever has the cables off of the spool on the servo?? as 1 of them goes into a differnt hole then the rest.
low on rpm, rich running, on 1 cyl. tells me the p/v isnt opening up or is on the spool wrong, so it doesnt open up far enough, something is up there.
if you have done all that carb work and coil swapping, plug cap good and all you have nothing left but the p/v
what year is this srx by the way?

went and looked at your previous post, so its a 2000 srx,
now, have you inspected the wire from the cdi box going to the coil on that cylinder?
if thats good with no problems, you either have a issue with the p/v-cable set up, or the cdi box. With the 3d ign. susytem each plug is fired at its own time, so the only thing left is those 2 items that can cause the issue.
add: i would inspect the flywheel for rust on one of the magnets, you never replied back if you checked that????, it could cause a high rpm misfire if the 1 magnet is rusty, the signal would get weaker to the pick up coil as the rpm climbs if its rusty.

I haven't checked flywheel or rub thru wires yet because I hate working on electrical but looks like I am going to have to.
"now, have you inspected the wire from the cdi box going to the coil on that cylinder?"
From memory there isn't a particular wire going from CDI Box to that coil. It apprears they are all looped with a male connection and a female conection on each coil to continue the wire loop from coil #3 to #2 to #1 and back.

I still guess pickup coil....if the carbs are correct ive ran 01 jetting from -40* to 60* no bogging. I would suspect reeds to cause more of a low\mid problem. I had issues with no power to pto cylinder when the sled warmed up, replaced with new coil no change. Showed no signs of low voltage via lights etc....tach got goofy sometimes....

each coil has its own wire from the cdi box, i would check the continuity and general condition of the wire from the cdi box to the coil /cylinder in question.
Good idea. I am going to go thru all the wires next time I am up there. Not sure if it is related or not but my servo motor also twitches opening and closing even when the cables are not connected.

always something with the SRX's....lolllll..Got my share of issues and a new one tonight as well.....skid issue now..
Yeah. I saw that. Problem with me is I can't sleep at night when my motor isn't running right. It keeps me up at night trying to guess what the hell is wrong with it. Don't have money to throw at it trying to isolate the issue with new parts. Hell I spent $200 bucks last 3 days in gas alone.

I had a similar issue a couple years back. Repair 9 spots in the wiring harness under the engine. That seem to fix all my problems that I was having.
