Thats a really nice clean sled for a very good price I would say! Congrats on the new purchase. I think you will love it! The thing about sleds is that you could buy the same year and model for $800 that needs $800 worth of parts...track,skid parts,clutch work,belt,carbides... On the other hand you could pay $1500 and get a sled that is truly "ready to ride". Gotta know what your looking for. I don't think everyone realizes this. I think you did well!

Do yourself a favor and carefully clean your carbs. Sounds like you already run most of the old fuel out of it, so no worries there. Can't stress enough - clean the carbs.

X2 - and learn to do it yourself.
It's an annual preventative maintenance thing that can save you a bunch in rebuild costs.
IMO - You cannot rely on anything in a can.
Unlike your bud's 4 stroke Apex that will run for miles with a plugged pilot jet, your SRX isn't as forgiving.
