WHo elses have 2 layers removed from head gasket and how many trouble free miles.
I have 2 layers removed abd about 800 trouble free miles.
I have been told by a yamaha snowmobile racer that on a long ride I will blow up. Said the motor gets too hot. I ride a SXR700

do a search this has been ask 100 times, most on here have had no problems, but i would do a search for the head gasket mod,lots of replies on the subject.

I rode about 3500 miles with Bender pipes and a single layer gasket on my 00 SX-R 700 with out a problem. You do need to run prem fuel but if If jetted correctly your fine. ===SRXSRULE===

I have 8,000 ks on my SXR 700 with 1 headgskt and run deep powder. No problems so far. 151 2" track with SLPs and stuff.
