So I was on yamaha website today drooling over that sexy a$$ viper again and noticed the msrp up over $12,000 scoots now. Correct me if im wrong but when they released the news on the 20th werent they like in the mid 10 grand range for msrp??? If i am correct whats up with that??? Cat already raise there prices to manufacture lol ???

cant say I ever saw a 10k MSRP. all I saw was mid 12's and up. but remember thats MSRP not dealer price. choose your dealers wisely

Same here. If you want a green one with arctic crap clutches those start at 11,600 iirc.

I think one of the manufacturers got it right for 2014 with prices that more people will be able to afford.

Next year a ton of people will be watching the comparisons between the cat 7000 and the sr viper. If the cat version eats clutches and belts, and has reverse issues, and the viper does not have those issues it will be interesting. I just don't have a good feeling about the cat chaincase, unless Yamaha can fix it.
