i put on a new ss rumble pack on my sx600r they say u dont have to rejet but its runnin really lean right now im runnin #1/136.8 #2,#3 133.8 mains what jetting would i jump up to or whats another sollution besides putting on my stock can
let me know what u guys think

I used to have an after market can on my 01 sxr600,my jetting was the same as yours and just ran it that way without a problem. You could jet up one size I guess..but if it is warm out..you of course will lose performance and run rich.

thanks blue also when at idle the pto is not firing untill after engaugement then she kicks in the carbs were cleaned about two tanks ago. when u pull the cap no change but u can hear the spark but not firing
what should i check

Clean the carbs again, something broke loose somewhere and plugged the pilot circuit. This may also fix your lean condition.
When I clean carbs I use a torch tip cleaner and poke though all of the circuits to eusure that they are clean and clear then blow them out with compressed air.. Good luck.

I used to have the same can on mine had to go up one size on the mains and I think I went half a clip richer on the needles loved the sound of it until I put over 200 miles on in one day had one of the worst headaches from listening to that thing screaming all day.

cans sound sweet..but there is a numbing noise at wot speeds that irritate the ears after a while, but sweet sound when you jam the throttle ,turns heads every time.

well took carbs out and sure enough the pilot was plugged on the cylinder that wasnt firing propery runs great now plugs look great but its pretty warm so she will run rich might have to rejet but for this year ill just drive her . And ya those rumble packs sound sweet what an echo braapppppp pppp

almost every second doo that goes by has an after market can on..you can hear them coming.I know a few guys that run them on trails all the time here.no biggie.

neighbors kid years back had a Polaris with the loudest Can I ever heard, felt like I was at the drag strip. It was so loud when he went down the field beside my house..the whole house would shake..You could hear him from a good mile away no problem. The kid was a jerk.Glad he isn't here no more..

i did nuthin but get tickets with my rumble pack loved the sound but for somereason everytime i got off it i was screamin

Harleys don't get ticketed because they role of the showroom floor with loud pipes. Its hard for a cop to give u a ticket for something that's factory. On that note I've been pulled over numerous times in my car. And twice in my pickup. I understand getting pulled over in my car its 3" aluminum with a race muffler and 12.5:1. As for my pickup its just true duals on a f150 and got pulled over just putting around.

Ya, Just how to get us kicked off trails, run a can. braapppppp pppp
ya i guess but i dont ride the trails all lakes and back country and besides the cops r more worried about drinking than loud pipes they really dont care one of my buddy is a cop and he runs tripple pipes with can

If they don't give any performance advantage, why install a loud muffler? I really detest loud *** sleds, especially at the gas stations. I usually laugh at the guys, knowing they spent alot of money for nothing. Keep the OEM muffler and the trails may be available for much longer. Al

I blew a hole in the Y pipe last weekend. Wow was that ever loud. My head was really throbbing and I couldn't hear very well for about a day after that. I think quiet and really fast is way better than loud and kinda fast.
