heel clicker springs

How often are you guys replacing the primary springs on these? I have about 1000 miles on my red spring and the sled does not seem as quick as it was, again! Thought maybe the spring is flat. I am about ready to ditch these heel clickers as they are the most inconsistent weights I have. My 99 sx runs good all the time and with its setup, gives my Viper all it can handle half of the time!
 
have 5000 miles on my heel clickers and the red spring no problems.The clickers take a bit to get set up, you set them up to your secondary and your weight, everyone is not the same weight and don't use the same helix so you need to adjust them to you.If your weight are set using there suggestion thats just a starting point you now need to fine tune them to you,by moving weight around or adding or taking weight out and once you have it you like them alot more
 
I have had many different setups, helix's, gears, springs, etc. I can tune it, that's all I have done for two years. What I am saying is that the clickers seem to be very tempermental, sensitive to climate change, just inconsistent. Thats why I asked about the spring, Dont want to take it off if I dont have to, if you know what I mean. It ran faster than ever at 0*, but at 30*, my sx7 can take it all the way to 600 ft. That sx runs strong at ALL temperatures, and the Viper dosn't. Just disapointed in the HC's, as many seem to be. May run 8DN's or the weighted 8EK and be happy it will run the same day to day.
 
What exhaust are you running? If I run an MBRP trail can on my viper pulls 8400rpm when the can is cold, when the can warms up I pull 8100RPM(therefroe I only put the can on when playing in powder, when the wiegth loss is more imortant) With the stock exhaust I pull 8400-8500 all the time warm or cold. I find the stock exhaust performs better, but my freinds say that they hate the sound, go figure beat their sleds the past weekend :WayCool: . Theirs being a 05 F7snopro (98mph), 03 Rev800(100mph) and my 02 Viper(103mph). I am sure that once they are also clutched they will probily get me.

When you put on the MBRP can on your Viper and the sled will only pull 8100 rpms when warmed up?? Sounds like the can makes less power than the stock exhaust.
Or are you changing clutching??
 
they do make less power than the stockers do, but they lose quite a bit of weight and growl quite a bit better than stock.
