just wandering if anyone knows if this is a good skid to buy to put under my SXR.Price is $400,but open to offers. It is from a 2008 Polaris Dragon Switchback.Should I consider this, just wandering if the install would be easy or not.It is a IQ skid,14 " travel, gas (rydeFX)shock with remote reservoir on rear, center Gas IFP shock .

Drove an IQ once. The ride quality was real good from what I remember.
I agree, I rode an iq skid in a sx years ago and it rode and transferred great. That's the best one by a mile of the skidframes you've mentioned.....

good ,and thanks...Jeff may be able to use your drop brackets maybe..don't know yet.I imagine I could just relocate mount holes to push skid back to make a 144..???

but if you guys think a 136 alone would be a great difference, then I would go 136.I found a nice used Cobra 136"track with 650 miles on it for $375 also..but also found a brand new 144 Rip saw in the box yet for $300,guy was going to put on his Venture..I think the Cobra is a better track anyways..

I think you'd do great with a 136". I have a 136" cobra on my sled this years and its an awesome track and better than my ripsaw in just about every way. With that said its not very durable though. I got like 7-8000 miles out of my ripsaw and sold it for 200 bucks still. I'm thinking I'll be lucky to get 3 seasons out of the cobra as its showing noticeable wear at 1400 miles and I do really try to be careful too. I love this track though so it kinda of a catch 20 lol! I do wonder what the ripsaw 2 is like and how it'll hold up.....

So guy has a nice xtra 10 from an 02 SKS in great shape for $300. Another guy has a 2000 Phazer skid and possibly getting a 144 in as well.
Here iare pics of the xtra 10..not bad..but I think the IQ looks like a more superior skid..a little more $400,maybe can offer $350.00

The IQ is a much better skid Doug.. Go for it and if not give me his number I will get it.. They ride nice, my buddies Dragon rides great, I have ridden it a bunch of times and it is good..

yeah thought it would be better then th xtra10 and has remote reservoir rear shock as well.I will make him an offer and see what happens as he wants $400 for it..looks in good shape as well being an 08.

does anyone know what a Polaris track pitch is,is it the same as Yamaha.I wanna see if he has a track to go with the skid,as I see some in the background.
