Ceramic coating Piston Top 03 Viper

Does anyone have any tech info on ceramic coating the piston tops in an 03 Viper 700 with CPR pipes... I get a really hot top end at 115 mph or so.. And if I Dont feather it coming down or flip on the choke I kill a piston... So any recommendation from the folks that might have had this happen or knew enough to [prevent it before it did..


Please let me know what your solutions were and has anyone done the ceramic coating on the top of the pistons if so:

Who did them?
Did it fix your problem?
Would you recommend this process?

if shes that hot at 9100rpm then your jetted too lean or the octane is way too low in the fuel your running. so whats the jetting in the sled and any mods to the airbox or other?
 
I agree w/ Mrviper as usual he is spot on. I'm having the same issue. WOT W/ 1000ft runs I was running hot W/ some idle hange. Did some testing by checking the low range fuel, mid range fuel, and the high range fuel and found I need to jet up on the mains. My SRX has a swissed airbox, reeds, clutched and a can and that is minor stuff. My carb setup has 42.5 piolts W/ the air scerw is at 1.75 turns, needle at the #4 position, and for next year I'm trying 155 mains instaead of 152.5. That is W/ 93 Octane. So check fuel first hot or idle hang = lean.
 
WOW in 03 Jeff Simon from CPR send me all the settings mains needle positions clutch weights etc... The was like 6 PC's ago and I Dont have it on hand. Its a beast and runs spot on from dead start through the entire range. I was running about 118 on and off the throttle and I guess I let off to long without burping it But I need to make it so I dont need to worry about that... I have the jug off and I need a new cylinder. any recommendations on cylinder repair places etc...
