Well I have been offered one 87 for less than 2K and was wondering if it is Worth the investment. The sled is complete with BR heads and pipes. It is running. The problem is the shipping....3500km from me !!

Anywhere from a Grand to 3 Grand. Sounds like a 2000.00 sled from what little you say about it. And yes shipping is a killer.
