Srx On Tar Today 3:16

MAN SCOTT THOSE ARE PRETTY BIG. ALOT OF FUEL DOWN LOW. I WOULD KEEP THE 55 IN YOUR 00 (ported). IF THE THROTTLE RESPONSE IS LAZY TAKE THE 2000 DOWN TO 52.5. NOW THE 02 STOCKER, I ASSUME YOU HAVE COMPLETE AIR BOX SET-UP. YOU CAN START AT 52.5 , BUT YOU WILL PROBLEY SETTLE ON 50 OR 47.5. 3:16 (yammie tony)

Full stock air box in both sleds. I too was thinking both were a bit too big on PJ's, but have had suggestions in the past and read some posts to try that. Can't say it helped or hurt. Going to go back to 52.5 (which is what I usually run) in the 2000 and 47.5 in the 2002. Part of my motivation last week on the jetting was because the air was going to be so good. Barometer was 30.5" HG with temps 45-55. Probably won't have that good air again until October.

A question unrelated to jetting. How do I go about breaking in a new belt? Obviously I can't do any trail riding for a while. LOL!

TAKE THAT NEW BELT AND FIRST WASH WITH SOAP AND HOT WATER. THAN LET IT DRY AND SCUFF SIDES WITH SCOTCH BRITE PAD OR FINE SAND PAPER. NEXT WHAT I DO IS PUT IT ON SLEDS, FIRE THEM UP AND JUST SLIGHTLY REV SLED SO FACES GRAP BELT, LETS BELT FINE SWEET SPOT ON SHEAVE. NOW I STILL USE THE 00 BELT. THE 01 BELT IS SLIGHTLY DIFFERENT. I ALSO WANT TO TRY THE XS805. 3:16 (yammie tony)

Okay. Sounds good. The '02 could use a new belt. We are planning to run this Sunday so I will post results Sunday night or Monday. Thanks again for all the help!

When do you run again, Tony?

Hey tony Hows a asphalt 128X10.5 and skis for 175 for a deal sound? But I dont know what to do with the track? Set skid back or swap it for 121x10.5

Joe Smoking Deal. But Find A 121/10.5. It Will Bolt In With Your Stock Skid Except You Will Have To Move Back Wheels. 3:16 (yammie Tony)

Joe, did you find that on craigslist here in Maine? I saw that add and was interested. Fair amount of work needed to stock rear suspension to use the 10.5" tracks unless Tony knows something I don't. I had to relocate both sets of upper idlers in the tunnel to ride on the narrow track. I have the 10.5 on my wife's SRX and a 15" track on my sled. Great Price, though.

Yes, that's the easy part. Just have to bend the relay bars for the rear shock some to clear the wheels when suspension in near full compression.

Ya Scott Added That The Top Idler Wheels Must Be Changed To. Along With Moving Back Large Wheels In. We Use Two 10.5 On 700 Red Heads With Yammie Skids, There Are Afew Changes That Have To Be Made. 3:16 (yammie Tony)
