Will these sleds fit on an 8'x8' trailer? There is one for sale locally to me with a salt shield for fairly cheap money or should I hold out for something wider?
Yes that is the next step up they will fit then but like nysrx said you will have to over lap or load one one way and load the other the other way it's a pain in the ***
Not sure but running stock skis we fit a viper and a cat on a 8x8 all the time when we would have to trailer to the river. They were tight but fit side by side. Even with a viper at 48" wide and the Srx at 46" you still should have room by the math?
2 Srx/Vipers will fit fine on a 101" I had an 8x8 enclosed and it was a NO WAY JOSE on any 2 sleds I tried. Srx/Sxr and a Sxr/poolaris loading both same way. BUSTED my balls getting Sxr in forward and Poo in backwards. I think the "stock specs" are more carbide to carbide or spindle to spindle, not the couple more inches of ski sticking out. Either way the 8ft length is a lil on the short side to. Most 101" wide are 120" (10ft) long. Good deals are out there to be found, I picked up a R&R 101x144" (12ft) enclosed ride in/out clamshell for $1200. Most open 101x120 open go for $5-750 around here. I would hold out for a 101" myself.
Must b right? I could have sworn his was a 8x8 but must not have been or his older cat was real narrow. The whole sled did not even fit, the back of the tracks hung over the edge but they fit side by side.
