What is the difference between the Vmax/sx 700 and the viper/srx 700. Is it same motor? or Are the suspensions different?
 
motors different. vmax is a non powervalved triple. viper is powervalved single piped triple. srx is triple piped powervalved motor. vmax is a redheaded motor that is bullet proof vipers are great motors to but have been known for crank troubles. srx is bulletproof as well. I'm 200 miles from 10,000 on mine never been opened up. hope this helped you a little
 
Do the non powervalved motors make the same power as the powervalved?
Also, you said 10k miles on your motor(which motor do you have)is it all stock or do u have any mods like pipes etc.

no powervalved not as much up stock but put pipes and clutch work they wake up. I'm running an 01 srx cold air intake clutched bender can. very fast my 3rd srx I've owned I love them
 
Redhead makes about 115 stock. viper I think is around 130. And srx is about 145. Redheads have a better rod stroke ratio. Redheads are 70mm bore and viper are 68mm.

the sx engines with "red heads" are 59.6mm stroke, 70.5mm bore and are a differnt case,cylinder design from the viper engines which are basicly the srx engine with differnt cylinders. The srx/viper engines are 69mm bore with 64mm stroke and use powervalves on the exh. ports.
