The first year we were running, I had a digital camera set up to video record the tach during the run(actually worked pretty good and I could download it and save when I got home). One time I noticed the fuel gauge in the video drop to empty during the run and got me to realize the fuel could run away from the pickup. Since then I have been keeping at least a 1/4 tank in it. The camera set up was pretty good except it was kind of hard to start recording with gloves on and sometimes would auto shut off on me.

quick and scott. problem with the srx when not having enough fuel is look where feed comes out of tank behind secondary. that sucker pretty high. now under hard acceleration, low fuel will head back towards your seat. great info guys. 3:16 (yammie tony)
