I'm with you.MrSled said:Am I missing something?
well I really enjoyed the talk about oils and ethanol, informative.I think Yamaha as a Company really care about the Products they build and the Oils they design for them.I have started back on Yamalube for the sleds last season and I find my PV's were pretty clean on my SRX.Plus their prices are cheaper then any aftermarket oils.As for Ethanol..I only use non ethanol premium,so I am not to concerned. My carbs are always clean inside.I think Ethanol should be Banned. Why would people want to use a product that draws moisture into your motors. There is a lot of Oil out there, and they should stop the Ethanol .Use the Corn to feed the people and animals instead..MrSled said:Here is part 2 on the Yamaha Lube Products from Am Snow:

good stuff!!!shaggyzr2 said:From what I've seen around here, non ethanol fuel is making a come back. People are starting to realize what that crap does to a vehicle. Many local gas stations have big signs out by the road advertising the 91 non ethanol fuel now. As long as there is enough demand for the non ethanol it will be available.

It absorbs the water. Period... Its like dumping a little water in with the gas. Water touching metal = oxidation. Oxidation = problemsdevinzz1 said:can somebody tell me why this stuff is so bad for your engine? I can understand the part where it absorbs water but what else?
