750 v4 primary w/ 13,000 miles.
Pulled the primary off today. It seems the bushing on the sliding Sheave. Is worn it has side to side movement.
Where the little rollers ride on the weights, the arms of the weights have rounded out spots where the rollers would sit when clutch is not engaged.
The rollers have some rust also.
On the sliding sheave at the very base of where the bolt from the tall cover would attach there is either a crack or a casting flaw. I can catch my fingernail on it.
Also when i press the sliding sheave until it touches the fixes one it sticks there Any advice is greatly appreciated

I would rebuild the clutch if was up to me, also do you have a picture of the crack or casting flaw

if this is the stock 92 vmax 4 clutch, put it on the shelf. replace with a srx one. 92-94 were different. spider had the nylon sliders that do where. a 800 primary will be very hard to find. the srx primary will go on and work great and are out there, but you must neatly grind down fins on gear case behind primary. 3:16 (yammie tony)
