First off, we are located in Northern IN. not much snow or trails. So, I am thinking of proposed trips this year.
1 Keewanaw Penninsula, Twin Lakes area
2 Tug Hill area, Never been there, want to ride
3 Togowatee Lodge area. Wyoming.
4 Of coarse the ole stand by of Baldwin-Irons Michigan.
This year we plan on riding much more than in the past. 2,500 miles per sled??? Anyway, the snow conditions will tell us where to go.

I'm sure I'll be floating around the back woods of the UP various times this winter. Just gotta figure out the fuel issue with the XLV. It rips pretty good in the deep stuff.

I'm always looking for people to ride with up there since all of my buddies have moved for work. I don't do much trail riding though. Usually just stick to a few spots that almost always stay untouched.
 
We labor ourselves on the "groomed" trails to find the two tracks of un-touched areas. We have most every trail mapped onto out GPS systems. If they aren't mapped yet, we track ourselves and save the information. Keep us in mind this winter.
 
Ever been to Togowatee? I haven't personally but I have some friends that say that area is awesome, in case you were curious.

A few of us are talking about taking a snowmobile trip to Utah this year.

We have traveled many times to the Snowy Range area in Wy. and quite abit in Colorado. We used to live in Grand Lake CO. Great place to vacation, very hard to make a living. Never sled in Utah. 4 wheeled there alot though. I till like Minnesota and Michigan the best. Wisconsin could be better, don't care for the trail systems. Al
 
I would love to go to Colorado! The in-laws live just outside of Denver so the wife should be game & we have a place to stay. Where do you ride out there Al?
 
We run the Grand lake / Winter park-Frasier trail systems. Deep snow, great meadows. Many hill climbs, Overall great place to ride. Grand lake has several hotels/motels in town. All are good. Can't pick one to even pass on.
We are interested in going to Togowatee lodge this year. They are already getting snow. Al
 
Yes, we simply regear. I don't change any weights in the clutches for only a weeks ride. Drop a tooth on the top gear and rejet for altitude. You WILL get stuck, if you don't you didn't ride hard enough. Al

Why dont you like WI? Ive only been in WI and the UP so i dont know anything else. How does it differ from other states?
