V-Max hood vents

I have a couple screen hood vents that need to be replaced. I have looked all over the internet lately and found that nobody stocks the 1996 Vmax XT screens. They are currently all rusty looking and thinking about changing them all to one color. Any advice? Much appreciated!

I'd just repaint them. I just painted a set the other day, very easy to do and they look good as new.

Good idea! I guess I could straightened them out before I paint them also. I was looking at vents last night (getting the itch) and man are they in there solid. The clips that hold them in must be dented and/or rusted.

You have vents in yours still i use to in the XT then they disappeared, still not sure how that happened

take side cutters and cut the rivits and pop them out, then i paint them. on the blue machines white vents look amazing and really make the decals pop out imo.
