suspension setup...(01 sx700R)

Have a 136" track and although its cool that the front end lifts up when I open her up unless i'm slowing down I have little steering. Under part throttle what do I need to setup to keep the skis on the ground so I can corner? Also, is there a way to lift the back end up more either to give more movement or just for looks because it appears to sit lower than most i've seen? thnx. doug
