2001 Srx

Just picked up a 2001 SRX tonight not sure on clutching but he did say he had some clutching done, just from looking with the hood up I can see a red spring in both clutchs would this be stock? Right now it's engaging around 4800rpms. Thanks, Rob
 

I only have 1 pic of it in the back of my truck, but it won't let me post pics.. Will get some pics of the clutches in a couple of days.. Maybe I could email them to someone
 
ALOT easier to set up a Photo bucket (or similar account) Copy the [IMG CODE] and like magic they appear! I think theres a test thread for posting pics and a How to post pics thread......EVEN I figured it out!
 
Oh yeah your original question...NO red spring not stocker. Usually a 3 dot combo WYW, WWW (white yellow white/ white white white...dots)
Take a look at your helix, most clutch "kits" come with a helix, should have a name or identifying mark of some sort.
 
Tony I was hoping you were going to reply to this..lol. From just looking at it, it doesn't look like heel clickers, will tear into it weds and try to post pics..
 
let me know. thats not the stock spring if its all red. i know old maximum performance here in ny had a good '' red '' spring for the srx. i will keep a eye for your pictures rob. 3:16 (yammie tony)
