Will a viper seat fit on a 97 sx chasis?

Hey guys! I am STILL working on my project sled ! im hoping to have it done by first snow fall this year ! the seat i have now is pretty beat up =( so im looking for a new one ! i really like the viper seat but i dont know if it will fit or not. Does anyone know if it will and if if it doesnt what modifications i need to do! Thanks ! :letitsnow :2strokes:
 
Yes it will fit and no mods needed other then you have to splice your old seat harness to the viper one so the connections match. Once you have your old seat off you will see 2 screws on the tank that will show now. Once off you will see what i mean but it never bothered me on my 98xtc i put the viper seat on.
 
Not sure but I believe you could change out the tank to a viper tank so you would not have the screws showing.. Just an idea. Could find them cheap on ebay.
 
Thanks for the replys! im also looking to use a spedo from a viper i know it will have to be custom fit but will the spedo work without any mods . im not sure how the digital spedos work

Might want to check with BETHEVIPER. He did something similar to this. But no as far as doing it without mods. Everything is different as far as Cdi, wiring etc. Lot of work and money
