Shock rebuild???

I'm just wondering if the front and skid shocks can be rebuilt on these srxs, my rear suspension I think is toast! She's sittin pretty low and when I press down on the rear or the front, it doesn't really like to spring back up. Lol any suggestions for this season? Thanks guys!
 
Busted shocks shouldn't affect sled height. It's my understanding that shocks dampen bumps and stop the sled from bouncing after a bump. Sled height is determined more by springs.
 
Chances are you have a got a lot more wrong under there there some worn out shocks. YES the oil can be changed and they can be refilled with nitrogen. I don't think it is your problem though.

My 97 SX700 was about the same way, I had the shock rebuilt and it was like new again, rode much nicer and no rear end sag.
 
I know I am missing one of those flat bars that run parallel with the rear shock, not sure what its called but I would think its kinda like a sway bar of some sort. Just got a price to rebuild and revalve and new seal kits for $260 for all 4! Not too bad I think.
 
I just bought am M-10 for the wifes Sled, it has fox shocks, one with a reservoir, one without. I was quoted 55$ for the res shock and $50 for regular shocks from peak velocity here in Ontario. Have yet to find any negative reviews on his work.
 
That's not a bad price, it's $45 to rebuild, $15 for seal kit, and $20 to revalve and set to rider specs for the ohlins, so about $80 per shock, and $50 per shock in the skid
