I bought an exciter about a year ago that didn't run. The previous owner had it seize on Him because of a problem with the cable from the pump so I dissconnected the line from that to the fuel line and removed the oil tank. My question is could I just take the pump and all the cables and lines from it out of the sled without any issues. Also I need a new jet needle and I couldn't find the 6fl68 but I read somewhere I could use a mikuni 6dh7 needle I also heard usi an exciter ii needle I was wondering which I should order. The 6dh7 is cheaper so that's my first choice as long as it won't cause any issues also jetting is stock.

Run a Exciter II needle or 6dh4 with 166 Q6 nozzles.
