so i took all of the center weight out and added one washer to the tip, now it revs right to 8500 and feels like a new motor. im not sure the ground speed has really increased tho, so im not doubting that there is still more to be had. I was just happy with the newly found engine response and pissed at the lack of snow...
im going to check and make sure im not generating excessive heat in the clutches next time we have enough snow, and if they run cool then i will likely just leave it alone. Until i find someone on the trail who beats me, then i will start throwing money at helixs. Until then my money if just spread too thin to worry about something that is really just sitting so far this winter.

ya, i hear ya on the snow problem, same here. Doest look fgood for the sharon oval races so far.......
