ET250 Clutch Removal

I'm working on an et250 that I got for my son and of course I don't have a manual..so...I need some help. It's a 79 and has the splined crank. I've got the movable sheave off and spring cup but the bearing and fixed sheave I don't know what to do with. The is very little space between the sheave and bearing for a puller and I don't want to damage anything.

That would be great...I've dealt with what I thought was everything until I met this little ET lol. I'd like to change the crank seals before I start messing with the carb....
 
You need a bearing puller/separator to remove the bearing and you will notice 2-3 threaded holes on the fixed sheave so you can use a steering wheel puller to remove it if my memory serves me right.
 
Thanks for the advice...it was exactly like you said. once I pulled the bearing I found the treaded holes in the sheave for the puller...it popped right off. The crank seals weren't great and one of the crank bearings was noisy so I replaced everything and she's back together. I'm now cleaning and painting some of the shrouds and replacing all the mismatched hardware with factory stuff....ive got lots laying around...including the obsolete crank bearing lol.
 
Got it all apart and back together again. It had been apart before and was reassembled with alot of gasket maker instead of actual gaskets. I got it all cleaned up and back together as it was meant to be...

That's awesome! There's nothing more fun than doing a job you enjoy for someone who you know is gonna love it!! Put up some more pics of the beast when its complete!
 
I also added an Apex riser and a set of snowcross bars..




I'm also adding a Vmax (pro action) seat and an Apex rear bar...and maybe a Proaction throttle block...I'm trying to use up all my new old parts lol
