Srx studs size

I am running 1.080 stud boys. No issues. Local yamaha shop said I could run the 1.175. My opinion. To close for comfort.
 
It's a camoplast replacement track, I assume 3/4 lug. Got a line on 144 1.175 new studs for $100. That's why I ask.
 
Little long but they will bite on hard pack for sure u will know with when you throw a stud. U should have .425 penetration on a 3/4 lug track Id do 96 up the center gonna last the longest.

I measured the lugs and they are from .8 to about .95". I am assuming its a worn out 1" track. I'm just looking for a 'guarantee' that the 1.175" studs won't chew up the tunnel or coolers. If someone has run this size with no problems, please let me know. If there is a chance of a problem I'll leave it unstudded. This is my trail sled, not a racer so looking for reliability. Thanks

X2 - Especially the rear HX protector. From what I've read, stud mfgs. measure thier studs differently so the mfg would dictate which ones work. IOW - A stud Boy 1.175" may measure differently than a Woody's.

I'm using Woody's 1.175" Gold Diggers with a 1" Kimpex Aggressor and see slight contact at the rear HX if the track is run looser than spec. With track tension at spec there is no contact.

Just my opinion - but if this is a trail sled; that's the biggest reason to stud it.
