unless you can get a sc103 or newer, I wouldn't bother to go to a skidoo skid.
the rx skid is a crapy version like what you have.
what you need to update your skid to something better is aluminum shocks from
xtc/viper/sxr. Have them rebuilt and revalved by most anyone at this point, they all have good setups. You also need the gold side arms from one of these sleds or from a sx/srx are also the same. They have bearings in them. also, you will need bearings for the front shock. Rebuild your skid and shim it tight, use revalved shocks and you will be amazed how good it is.
If the rx skid is a new takeout, the shocks are a decent upgrade in ride. The problem is you still have bearing issues.
if you can get it for nothing, get it, use the front shock, and rails. This skid has a better lower front shock mount style.
