Reed notching

Would it do any good to reed notch for a 2001 SRX 700? or spaces? Is it even worth the time for a SRX? Thanks for your info

No not for the SRX

I tried spacers and a Boost Bottle on my 2002 SRX and did not notice any improvement...both these mods were very noticeable on my piped and ported 600 + 700 SX triples.

You can't get any thinner than the head gasket the SRX does'nt have

The red heads and Vipers have the head gaskets, SRX cyls are grooved for o-rings

You will learn a lot from here. I am still learning. Came from a 670 mxz to srx. Still miss the old girl but very happy on the blue team

My 670 would beat HO's. Lol. Its something about your first sled that you will always miss. Had a nice set of dyno port twin pipes. Loved the sound. Anyways I don't think I will ever sell the srx.
