What track height and chisel height can I get away with on an 02 Viper. We have a snow pack dragway here in northern michigan. I have always raced a firecat. It is a 500' track, I also plan to ice drag the viper 660'. Any ideas on some gearing? Should be able to hit 84-87 mph in the 500'. Hauck racing sled.
 
21-40 for 660ft 20 or 19 top and 40 bottom for 500ft 3/4 in track would be best mix em pixx and chisels 120 or 144 work ok.
 
Sure appreciate the help. It seems that the tunnel and heat exchanger will limit the height of the chisels. What is the max chisel length that can be used?

(Less is more) no more then 3/4 above lug height is needed. but the less lug the less weights less stud lenght/ weight = more speed
