clutch questions on a 1997 mm600

So i was able to get some riding in today with the new clutch.

It is engaging at about 2500 and idk what its max is yet as i only got to ride it in the dark. when i had it up on the hard pack road with a couple inches of snow, i noticed it seems to pull harder up top. before it would only reach about 90km/h. when i had it on the thin snow it was above 90 and was still going. so id say the top is better with the new clutch. when i hit the deep/fresh snow it seems to have no go. probably dosnt go over 40km/h and kinda feels like a snow plow. acceleration is sluggish and in deep snow i have to let off throttle amd pin it again to get any type of speed or power. just feels sluggish unless im on packed snow or thin snow. So im looking on some tips to wake it up to say. carb adjust or clutch adjust?

New clutch is off an 07' phazer i belive. Thanks

So you didn't change anything on the phazer clutch when you bought it?
That clutch is not set up for that sled. Won't perform good at all

I realize that now. im waiting for new mm600 oem weights as one was broken on the old clutch so might as well do them all. i only rode the phazer set up to see what it was like, then i swithched the spring to see if it was any better and it wasnt. so no more riding till i get it figured out. Before the old clutch blew up it was still only engaging at 2500 and going up to 5500-6000. So maybe the previous owner had it set up diffrently. All i know is that currently this thing feels more like a snow plow rather then snowmobile. so ill get it tuned up and running correctly and hope its not a snowplow after. Runs real rich to as it snokes real bad so that might have to with it to.

Probably better check your secondary too. If your primary was that bad of shape I would imagine the secondary needs attention.
A new belt would also be in order.
